1. Services

• Learning paths, free-practice modules, statistics and weak-spot review (as available in-app);
• Optional account (email or Sign in with Apple);
• Optional subscription / lifetime unlock;
• Ads for free users (requested as non-personalized).

2. Accounts

• Provide accurate information and keep credentials secure;
• Do not sell/share accounts or misuse the service;
• You may delete your account from Profile when signed in.

3. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

3.1 Benefits (as shown in-app)

• Unlock membership path stages (e.g. Stage 3+) and advanced content;
• Unlock advanced free-practice modules;
• Fuller statistics and weak-spot review;
• Fewer ads/interruptions;
• Other benefits displayed in the app.

3.2 Plans and pricing

We may offer auto-renewable weekly subscriptions and a one-time lifetime purchase (and other plans if listed on the App Store). Price, trials, and regional offers shown by Apple prevail. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation.

Example product IDs (subject to store configuration): weekly com.aitheory.pianolearn.weekly; lifetime com.aitheory.pianolearn.lifetime.

3.3 Renewal

• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends;
• Renewal is charged within 24 hours before the end of the current period;
• Manage in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions;
• After cancellation, access continues until the paid period ends.

3.4 Trials

If a free trial is offered, failure to cancel before it ends converts to a paid subscription. Unused trial time may be forfeited if you purchase during the trial, per App Store rules.

3.5 Redeem codes

Promo/VIP codes may unlock benefits as shown after redemption. Codes may not be resold; abuse may void access.

4. Refunds

Refunds are handled by Apple: https://reportaproblem.apple.com. See Request a refund and Manage subscriptions.

5. License and IP

• We grant a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license for personal practice use;
• Levels, copy, visuals, audio, and software are protected; do not copy, reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute for commercial training without permission;
• Apple, Google, Umeng and other marks belong to their owners.

6. Acceptable use

Do not break the law, disrupt the service, crack membership, distribute malware, or infringe others’ rights. We may limit or terminate access for violations.

7. Disclaimer

• The app is provided “as is”; we do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation;
• Practice results vary; no exam/career guarantee;
• To the extent permitted by law, liability is limited to amounts you paid for the relevant feature (except where mandatory law provides otherwise).

8. Privacy

See the in-app Privacy Policy. We use Umeng analytics and AdMob (NPA), do not proactively request ATT, and do not use IDFA for personalized ads.

9. Children

Minors should use the app with guardian consent; guardians should manage purchases.

10. Law and updates

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China, excluding conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections in your region apply. We may update these Terms in-app; continued use means acceptance.
