Summary: This app is a piano sight-reading execution trainer (turn reading into playing that keeps going). It is not a from-zero hand-technique course and does not primarily promise pop play-along or finger correction. We use Umeng for analytics and Google AdMob for non-personalized ads (NPA). We do not request ATT, do not use IDFA for personalized ads, and do not perform cross-app “tracking”. Practice progress is stored on-device by default; accounts are optional.
1. Scope
This Policy describes how we collect, use, store, share, and protect information when you use learning paths, free practice, statistics, sign-in, subscriptions/IAP, feedback, and ads. Third-party services (Umeng, Google, Apple) are governed by their own policies.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information you provide
- Account (optional): email credentials for email sign-in; Apple user identifier and (if you share it) email via Sign in with Apple.
- Support (optional): feedback text, contact details, and screenshots you attach via the system photo picker.
- Redeem codes (optional): VIP/promo codes you enter.
2.2 Automatically collected
- Device/environment: model, OS version, language/region, app version/build, network context.
- Usage/diagnostics: screen views, feature events, session metrics, crash/error logs (via analytics).
- Ads: impression/click events and device data needed for delivery, frequency capping, and fraud prevention under NPA requests.
2.3 Practice and membership
- On-device practice data: level progress, accuracy, reaction, weak spots, and stats stored locally by default.
- Membership status: StoreKit/App Store purchase status and, when signed in, server-side entitlement/redeem checks.
- Cloud sync: Not enabled in the current version. If offered later, uploads occur only after you sign in and enable sync, and this Policy will be updated.
2.4 What we do not currently collect
- No microphone-based pitch listening of a real piano in the current build.
- No camera capture; no contacts or precise location.
- No raw MIDI hardware streams as analytics payloads (if MIDI input ships later, we will disclose permissions and purposes).
3. How We Use Information
- Provide paths, free practice, stats, accounts, membership benefits, and support;
- Validate purchases, redeem codes, and entitlements;
- Improve reliability and product quality via analytics;
- Show NPA ads and perform basic measurement/anti-fraud;
- Comply with law and respond to requests.
4. Sharing and third-party SDKs
We do not sell your personal information. We may share necessary data with:

Analytics events may include module/level IDs, accuracy, counts, duration, premium/login flags, and locale—not raw practice audio.
5. Tracking and ATT
We do not perform cross-app/website tracking for personalized ads, do not proactively request ATT, and do not use IDFA for personalized advertising. If this changes, we will update this Policy and request permission as required.
6. Storage, retention, and deletion
- Local practice data is removed when you uninstall the app or use in-app clear/reset features (where available).
- Server data is kept only as needed for stated purposes or legal requirements.
- Account deletion: when signed in, use Profile → delete account & data, or contact support@staveai.com / in-app feedback.
7. Your rights
Where required by law, you may request access, correction, deletion, withdrawal of consent, or a copy of your information via in-app feedback or email.
8. Children
Minors should use the app with parent/guardian consent and guidance. We do not knowingly collect sensitive information from children. Guardians may contact us to request deletion of data collected in error.
9. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
10. Updates
We may update this Policy and show the new “Last updated” date in-app. Continued use after changes means you acknowledge the updated Policy.
